

True Botanicals
True Botanicals was looking for a new direction for their website, focusing on an engaging and captivating user experience. To achieve this, we first set out to understand what their consumers were looking for in their products, and what the brand offered that set them apart from their competitors and would cut through the noise. Through qualitative research we were able to find that a large majority of users were looking for details about the ingredients of the products and clinical studies around the effectiveness. Their customers are highly educated on skincare products and looking for these specific attributes. Working closely together with the Creative Director, UX Researcher, Project Managers and Developers, we worked on a full website redesign with an iterative approach. We established a new look and feel that complemented this new direction for the brand while creating an optimization program and several product initiatives.
After a full redesign, we continuously optimized the website with landing pages, a/b tests, and product quizzes to personalize the browsing experience. The redesign resulted in an increase in conversion rate from 4% to 6%. Additionally, we saw improvements in the average order value and revenue per customer, alongside a reduction in the homepage bounce rate.
